Seattle Boat Co., a local boat dealer recently recognized as one of the top 3 in the nation, decided to expand their operation by opening a new waterfront headquarters in the Newport Shores area of Bellevue. The complex program integrates office space, a showroom, a workshop, and boat storage. A dynamic design featuring a prominent curved roof, exposed structure, and wood and steel screening gives the building a strong presence while maintaining a neighborly relationship to the surrounding residential areas.
